MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
He/she shall responsible for his job as below functions:
- Low Voltage (including LV MSB but excluding Generator Set)
- Stand Alone Fire Alarm System
- Mobile Fire Extinguishers
- Sump Pump
- Telephone/Internet/PABX
- CCTV System ( Closed Circuit Television System)
1. Install, repair, service and maintain low voltage systems and components
Main Activities
- Review building plans and specifications to determine the layout for low voltage and
related materials
- Identify required tools and special equipment for low voltage
- Select the type and size of electrical equipment required
- Locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures
- Install, repair and maintain common lighting, common power piping and controls
- Install, repair and maintain external lighting and car park lighting systems
- Install, repair and maintain toilet and lift lobby lightings/power
- Install, repair and maintain staircase and lift corridor lighting/power
- Install, repair, testing and maintain “Keluar Sign” and emergency lighting
- Register competence certificate as required by law i.e. Suruhanjaya Tenaga under company registrations
2. Maintain all building codes, installation requirements and relevant legislation
Main Activities
- Perform scheduled maintenance service on plumbing systems and fixtures
- Apply all codes to installations, repairs and maintenance
- Ensure all requirements as specified by the manufacturer of systems and fixtures are met by authority i.e. Suruhanjaya Tenaga
- Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported and graded
- Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Administer and schedule work
Main Activities
- Prepare budgets via petty cash or vice versa (for Low Voltages)
- Prepare orders of supplies for Low Voltages equipment , tools and parts
- Keep daily reports of the electrical reading, preventive maintenance and daily checklist
- Schedule work in cooperation with other party
- Without fail to collect electricity, telephone and internet bill from the authority (TNB) and Telekom on the _____ and _____ of the months
- Without fail to assist and collect tenants electrical bill from TNB
- Without fail to take electrical meter reading for tenants
- It is self-responsibility to ensure the technician provide log book and record of daily work
2. Perform others work
Main Activities
- Conduct others work as assign by the management in Sunway Geo Lakes or other place
- Conduct install, repair and maintain Sump Pump System in Sunway Geo lakes or other place
- To check and conduct sump pump system
- Conduct install, repair and maintain CCTV System
- Periodically testing CCTV System to ensure the system work according during the normal and or emergency conditions
- Ensure backup supply are available and ready to use for CCTV System i.e. essential supply, battery or ups
- Ensure CCTV are allocated at proper location which enable fully capture of individual
- Make recommendations for upgrade and improvement of the CCTV System
- Notify, download and record any suspicious activities for management perusal and next action
- Conduct testing of Fireman Switch to ensure compliant to authority (BOMBA)
- To check and ensure auto sliding door work perfectly
